What does the size tag on Nike shoes tell you?
Find out how you can use it in your interest
There are two different Nike tags, an old and a new one. Here's some explanation on the information you can find on both versions – and what you can do with it!
OLD VERSION - the year of production (1995 on this one) - the size in different sizing systems - the product code
NEW VERSION - the product code - the size in different sizing systems - the range of production (this one was made from September 11th to November 9th in 2007)
Use the size tags to tell if your pair is legit
The product code can be entered in Google picture search for a fake-check, like this: 'Nike xxxxx-xxx'. If the results are just one shoe in one color, it is correct. If you get several different shoes in many colors, they are bogus. The one on your tag and on the box must be the exact same one.
Check all four sizes and compare them to the official Nike size chart – they ALL have to be corresponding.
There are shoes that don't exist in half US sizes – do a little research on the exact pair you're looking for.
